To all Solari Subscribers: 

This Sunday, the Solari community celebrates the life and work of our dear friend and ally Jason Bawden—known to many of you as Jason Bawden-Smith. Jason died on Monday, July 26th at his home on the Australian Sunshine Coast, surrounded by immediate family and soul family. Jason’s funeral was held last week and many of his family and colleagues spoke at that time.

We will conduct our Solari celebration by Zoom. The access information is below. Please feel free to forward this to anyone who appreciated Jason and valued his tremendous contributions to us all.

For those not able to participate at this time, we will record our celebration and post it online at the “Celebrating Jason” website below. This website is a work in progress where we are collecting photographs, audios, videos, and other materials related to Jason’s many friends and family, his life, and his work. Please feel free to send any materials that you wish to contribute to Solari Support .

The celebration will last for up to two hours. I will moderate the first hour in which several speakers will share our recollections of our life with Jason. The second hour will be moderated by Jason’s friend and colleague George Kavassilas. We will focus on Jason’s hopes and dreams for our future together and for a human civilization on this beautiful planet that he so deeply loved.

Thank you so much for all your prayers to support Jason and all of those who love him during this transition.

I was blessed to call Jason a colleague and a friend. He filled my life and our network with loving intelligence and gathered extraordinary people together who are building a powerful future inspired by his vision and strength.

I look forward to celebrating and giving thanks with you this Sunday.
